This story originates from the famous "Elephant and the rope" story who's author is unknown.
For those who are not familiar with it, let us remind it to you.
Once upon a time a traveler went on a journey to a country where elephants are living. The traveler noticed that huge elephants are tied with a tiny rope to a small tree. Traveler got curious and had to ask to the trainer of the elephants why are they not running away and how come that the small tree and simple rope can hold them. [you won't believe what happened next - yes we did that]
Trainer replied - they start to tie elephants with the rope to the trees in their childhood. The initial break-away attempts fail. When elephants get older they have used to the thought that they won't get away and don't even try.
The moral of this story is to try harder. Try more often. Even if the initial attempts fail, it doesn't mean that your idea or your efforts are useless. Maybe it is not the right time to do it. We believe that if you are truly passionate about something in your life, you gotta try to do it. Obviously, there must be some common sense behind your passion and if you believe that you are a bird and you can fly, then we suggest to turn to some professional help [like right now], instead of jumping 10 times out of the window.
